![]() The downsides are the single USB port, so get yourself a power supply adpaptor gadget that has screen out, 4 USBs and network CAT5 input. Some people moan that the cover keyboard stops you from using Revit properly, but alas, Mine is attached now, and its what I’m using to type. Other things to bear in mind is that this is Windows 10, which I believe it not officially supported by Autodesk yet. I’ve been running Revit, Navisworks (Simulate) and Chrome, along with Drawboard PDF on this all day with no problems (230mb Revit model with 150mb reference model, and 50mb referenced IFC). Resolution should be set at 150%, and advanced settings can leave it at full. If you dont like tiny resolution, this aint for you. There are a few things that need to be changed. With the possibility of remote servers, and desktop viewing, this would make the Surface Pro even better for people that are out of the office alot, or need to fire the laptop up to carrying on working after the kids have gone to bed. I first tested a SP3 at my last practice, and it ran Revit fine. ![]() Now alot of people think this isnt enough, but it is. ![]() I’ve been given a new test laptop, and its a Surface Pro 4, made by Microsoft.
